Day 1. Nairobi-Lake Ellis (Half Board)
Day 2. Lake Ellis to Base Camp (Full Board)
Day 3. Base Camp to Lake Ellis-FB
Day 4. Lake Ellis to Nairobi- Breakfast Only
Day 1
The drive from Nairobi to Chogoria Gate takes approximately 5-6 hours. Guests can be picked up from the Jommo Kenyatta International Airport, Wilson Airport, or their accommodation in Nairobi or Kiambu.
The target is to arrive at the Chogoria gate as early as possible and head to our first camp.ie: Lake Ellis. Here we spend the night camping as we wait for the next day.
Day 2
We wake up as early as 06:00 hours to begin our journey to the summit base camp. Here, we camp for the second night awaiting the summiting day.
Day 3.
Rise up at 2:00 am, take a light breakfast, and at 2:30 am start hiking to the summit.
After enough time for photography and rest at the summit, we get back to base camp, have breakfast, and descend to the first camp where we spend the night.
Day 4
Wake up take breakfast, bid bye to our supporting staff, and head back to your accommodation in Nairobi.
